I am a Slovak-Palestinian feminist writer and, growing up in two countries and between two cultures, my identity and background inform my writing. I write fiction, poetry and non-fiction, and hold a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Haifa.

My debut novel, Haifa Fragments (2015), was published by Spinifex Press, New Internationalist, and translated into Italian and Turkish. My short stories have been published in Verity La, FemAsia Magazine, Consequence Magazine, and most recently, in the anthology We Wrote in Symbols: Love and Lust by Arab Women Writers, edited by Selma Dabbagh and published by Saqi Books.

In my writing, I am interested in exploring stories and experiences of women.

I’m a member of the feminist collective Isha L’Isha – Haifa Feminist Center, where I have been an activist since 2007, advocating for the rights of women and taking leading parts in various projects. I live in Haifa with my daughter, partner, two dogs and a cat. I love drawing, gardening, and long walks at night. Currently I am training to become a Shiatsu therapist and at work on a collection of short stories and a memoir.
